Fun-Motion Forum Guidelines (READ THIS BEFORE POSTING)

The Fun-Motion forums are a great place to discover and discuss physics games, seek feedback and advice on design projects, and find a community full of people with similar interests. In order to ensure that all members can get the most out of their forum experience, some elaboration on Forum Rule #3 (Keep It Civil) has been provided below.

Avoid off-topic posts and duplicate threads.
Although a certain small amount of friendly chatter is natural and encouraged, we ask you to be mindful of thread topics and not engage in persistent off-topic commentary. Furthermore, the search feature will enable you to contribute to pre-existing threads (whenever possible) instead of creating duplicate threads. As a user, you should help to maintain the integrity and focus of the forum.

Avoid spam and advertisements.
These forums do not primarily exist for you to make a profit. To that end, advertisements must be of a purely informative nature. Links to personal game design projects, personal home pages, and online communities are entirely acceptable; links to referral schemes and product marketing sites are not. If you see a spam thread, please use the Report Post function or send a private message (PM) to a moderator rather than replying to the spammer's thread.

Avoid excessive vulgarity.
Occasional swearing is fine for expressing intense emotion, but its sustained or exaggerated use decreases a thread's value and may offend the community at large. Other offensive materials in text or graphics are not permitted.

Avoid harassment.
We're here to have a good time. Personal attacks on other members will not be tolerated. Additionally, in order to avoid getting attacked, please refrain from creating posts that may usually provoke others: those with unsubstantiated claims, opinions arrogantly presented as fact, or vapid content (including generic bump posts).

Avoid forum fouls.
Certain forum actions serve no purpose other than to distract and frustrate others. These are highly discouraged, and they include (but are not limited to) the use of the following: over-sized signatures, over-sized fonts, all caps, alternating caps, cycled bold/italics/underlining, rainbow colors, scrolling, egregious multiple posting, and ultra-deep quoting. (Truly bizarre formatting, spelling, and grammar are also discouraged.) Please fix your posts using the Edit function if they contain such fouls.
