Post VirtuaLab Mechanics

Here's a great physics simulator similar to MIT's "ASSIST sketch understanding system" (If you don't know what I'm talking about look it up) but i'ts free and it doesn't require a supercomputer or anything. Try it out it's fun!

http://pintarmedia.com/pdload/

Just click on "Mech" and put your name and e-mail (who knows why, they don't send anything)

Yeah, virtualab is great. I've made like hundreds of scenes with it, and 1/5 of them is "racing blocks through obstacle course"
But hey... It's not free... It's $80!

The MIT thing is acually a souped up version of Microsoft Physics Illustrator. MS Phsics Illustrator is for tablet pc's only , so those of us who don't have one will have to stick with VirtuaLab.

I suppose you're right, but MS PI didn't really seem intuitive at all, it was very prone to misuse what you drew..

I don't mind being stuck with Virtua Labs.

Whenever I try to pin anything to another object, it just makes them both stick to the background. What am I doing wrong?

Double click on the pin and uncheck the box marked "Pin to background"
