Someone said they wish they came up with good ideas sooner? From the second I saw Ski Stunt Simulator I had wished and hoped for a game almost exactly like this. Such a great idea and you guys have done a great job. There is only one thing I'm desperately hoping it does NOT have. And that is the editor is just me placing pre built jumps around like excitebike. What the game really needs to catch on are maps that are built like Ski Stunt Simulator. Maybe place prebuilt jumps as objects on the track but allow the user to really control the track. I believe if it only allows pre built jumps it's not going to last but if it does have ski stunt like maps then it'll really have a following. Just imagine a hill climb map. I think that'd be sweet. Or some downhill jumps. That is really the only thing I'm really really hoping for. Other then that the game looks awesome. I can deal with no other changes except the map one. However if you find yourself nitpicking and want to polish it up a little more I'd say do what the others suggest and have the ragdoll collide with the bike. On another note.... Will the ground be all one consistency? I mean if you are using physics and what not I'd imagine it'd be easy to allow for more slippery dirt like mud, sand, or hard packed dirt like clay since those are all things found in motocross. I'm just throwing out ideas here. Also how about a time trial mode with a ghost. It saves the fastest ghost. That way you can try a different line through a certain section and see if it's actually faster. It'd help you find the fastest way through a track. Ok that is all. Keep up the great work and I'll be eagerly waiting for this.

I think he meant the release date, which is scheduled for Q4 2007. Most likely beta in October and release in November/December.

Keep in mind that I am only one person doing all the coding, though, so that date could easily be pushed further into the future. The biggest issue right now is finding an excellent artist. It's hard, even though I am paying good money.

No worries though, it will be released and it will rock the independent gaming world.

I'm sorry about the off-topic post here, but can Tobias or TobbeA tell me where you got that template for your website? I just can't get over how crazy good it is....

I really can't wait for this game, though.

I think I heard that the demo is coming out when the game is released. That way you can try before you buy.

Thanks, TobbeA, and I'm glad it's Joomla. I was thinking about making a site using that. Is there any way to tell what the price is without joining, though?

Also, I hope they release a few more videos, if they aren't releasing any demo before the release... You hear me, guys!? Good luck developing.

I'm fairly certain it's just one guy (TobbeA) developing which is pretty amazing. He just has one guy working on the graphics and then him doing the coding. pheeew.

But you also want him to INCREASE the friction so it would bump more...

Those are the EXACT opposite, dont think you were really awake when you wrote it, or I just missunderstand you

I completly agree though about the bike collision
I love how you comment on his poor grammar while using poor grammar.

The only things i really misspelled were Allways. The other were just typos or wrong version of word, for example missunderstand - missunderstood

But since this is a MSM thread I'll have to write something.....hm....
I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL RELEASE!

hahaha! I stand corrected... keep in mind that I'm only a little swedish boy... BUT since I'm 15, maybe I've stopped being a boy and moved into the next era... a youth... ah fuck it...

I'm a pretty friendly bloke though (hooray for the britt and their strange words! Jolly good )

Tobbe has also inserted some sort of spam filter in the forum so guests can't spam Only join if you have something to ask or any idea for the game....or just want to chat

Cheerio mates! // your friendly bloke Farbror Fazer

EDIT : The spam thing i talked about was that if a guest post anything he will have to write down numbers that's twisted around to prevent spambots. Sorry for my bad description above
