http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravitar
Exerpt: "Unlike many other shooting games, gravity plays a fair part in Gravitar: the ship will be pulled slowly to the deadly star in the overworld, and downward in the side-view levels[that's a lie; you gravitate around a giant land mass in some of them - SD1]." Video SO I GUESS IT'S LIKE SUPER MARIO GALAXY KINDA |

Why the fuck would you post a atari 2600 game?!

Because it has physics and I played it on an Atari 2600 Plug-n-Play recently.
And I'm a retro gamer. |

I played it. That ship is definitely GRAVITATING around that sun-type-thing / land-mass.

I just think it's incredibly pointless to post a atari 2600 game on here.
Atleast post games we can try |

Can the atari PROCESS physics at all? You forget how weak it is.

I just said a random game. And who cares if it has physics or not. It's still 25 years old.

This is cool!
![]() So, would you say it's ok to post about oldie games with physics if you include a download link for the game and a relevant emulator? I'd go for it! Let's spam the forum with ancient commodore / atati / amiga physics games! Cheers, Mike |

Which is why I didn't post a link to a ROM and I told you not to google the rom. Winks can be misinterpreted and do not, by nature, mean anything. And emulators are not automatically pirate devices; the Atari 2600 has a great homebrew scene, and how else are you going to play the homebrew games?.

Emulators are fine and you didn't post a link to ROMs. That said don't mention them again, so we can stay out of lawful/morally gray areas.
I'll let it slide for now, but if I see any more "DON'T GO HERE AND DOWNLOAD THIS" I'll be dishing out some heavier punishment.
