i started playing around with construct: the result a basic ridged simulation. click and drag to drag, space for more blocks imo; a big step up from teli ,not bad for my first game with it 100th thread!!! im a goin ta disny world! Last edited by lafe; 01-14-2009 at 01:05 AM.. |

Well yes.
A big step from Teli. But anything would be a big step from Teli... There's something VERY wrong with the physics. if i hold a block on top of another block (not touching). The upper one will start spinning. It also seems like when ever i release a block over another block, it accelerates very fast down onto the lower one. But when i release the block over the ground, it falls nice and slowly. EDIT: Also... Did you really make 100 threads? That's horrible... |

no, i did work.
i worked with construct enough to get a basic interface, instaled a plugin for physics, and acessed and changed the varables that define the collisions, and set how the objects collide. thats a fairly good first program, in a new languge, with no tutorial or advice, and i hope i can do better in the future |
