I think if you have ATI graphics card, the GPU-heavy render settings (blob and up) cause a lot of lag. Doesn't like ATI for some reason.

Besides having a slow PC, if you have an ATi video card and are using the incorrect version (use 1.1.2b), it will also go slow.

I've got an integrated ATI, and it runs fine on blob. I get about 10-15 FPS on shader, though.

I tried getting 1.1.2b and it still lags really much!

yaya i already know that stuff. My question is what the name is like how and other things inside notepad are named differently sometimes. I'm wonderin if theres a way to edit the rigid properties so i can make it lighter and also make it so less material passes through the rigid.

I already made powder almost completely able to inifinitly pack itself into a little ball that is extremely heavy, but last plenty of time when burned and expands quit well pushing itself out just like a rocket which is really useful. I really want to change weight of only specific elements and also with properties.

I don't think rigid has specific properties, i think it's just unbreakable static particles at a set density. In which case, you may want to play with some of these properties which i haven't yet covered in an oe-cake lesson video:

@ standardDensity - How close particles get under normal pressure
@ pressureCoefficient - How close particles are able to come
@ repulsionCoefficient - How strongly particles repell each other

Of course, this will also affect the other materials' physics.

OE-Cake is dead.

Please note that OE-CAKE! download service was finished. We appreciate your business.
However you can still play it by changing your computer's date to before 5th November 2008.

I think that they will be focusing their manpower on their commercial OE-Cake spinoff - PhysiCafe

How To: Download / Install PhysiCafe

It's a copy of OE-Cake, but crappier and with less features. Gone is element mixing, colors, "spuit", slice and all that good stuff. Also, everything is in japanese and impossible to understand because the characters are replaced with "???" question marks.

Aye, same. I had several backups thrown about at my house, and then all ran out. Then I go the site and see they don't offer it for download. I had just gotten a lot of my friends into the game, too. >_<"

Using mix mode wrong - you don't click the first element, just type the materials. And you can't include fire as an element. Fire if FH (fuel heater).

I understand, I just wanted to say that it does infact work, and the "badness" of it is personal preference

It's a matter of logic and standard.

I get fools coming to my video saying "all i get is a weird mix when i try to use the keyboard shortcuts" and shit like that because they watched a video or got info ignorant of the ESC toggle, it gets old.

All you need to do once mix is turned on it click the first material you want to mix with, then type the rest.
It's very simple.

Yes. And what if you want to just type it, or use key shortcuts?

It just creates un-necessary confusion.

Good lord man, calm -down-
There's two options on how to use mix mode.
I'm so terribly sorry I mentioned the other one.
You aren't the damned overlord of OE-cake.
