This is just UNBELIEVABLE!!
One fucking awesome game!!
I drew hundreds and hundreds of tiny, 0.3 cm lines and there was absolutely no lag, and I'm using AMD Athlon XP 2800+ (not great)

i have an 8800 and it says the video card does not support NonPow2Conditional.

edit: in the readme.txt it says it needs at least directx 8. i think he made it for that but it doesn't support the future versions? maybe it's because i'm on vista with dx10

That was awesome! You can draw hangers and circles and they actually work unlike crayon physics.

munto - Thanks for the awesome encouragement! If you would like to see the framerate of the game, press 0 (zero) while playing. Hopefully it won't dip too low even after creating hundreds of objects .

psygo - The game could really use some music I admit...just a simple thing like that would make it more engaging.

raymastero - I played Crayon Physics too and it was obviously one of my inspirations =)

Thanks for checking out my demo everyone! For those with the NonPow2Conditional message box that pops up - what video card are you using? Obviously I'd like to fix this problem so that the demo can be played by as many people as possible.

Allen

Nice, another developer here to listen to us.

Are you going to develop this further? More levels for example?

Ah yeah, I'm using GF 7600 GS. I get the same message as everyone else, but after pressing "ok" the game starts normally.

The same thing I happens to me.
I have GF 7600, too, I think :/
Fun game though, I feel sorry for those who can't play it.
I like being able to move around.

Muntu - I may develop this further depending on the feedback (which has been positive so far) and the amount of time I can dedicate to it.

Interesting, people running Nvidia cards seem to be getting the message box.

I have uploaded a newer version which I hope fixes the issue. You can download the latest version here. Please let me know if this solves the problem!

I have an older Nvidia card and I don't get the error. Probably because its old.

Edit: Just as a suggestion. You should try to make a multiplayer mode. Possibly try to create contraptions to screw up your opponent, while racing him/her to the end. Or even a co-op mode.

I got an error, but it ran, but everything I drew looked like a glitchy dotted line box with lines in it, instead of the actual shape it was.
