well, it's not exactly finished yet, but will be in about half a month if i'm going to compete in the igf students. the physics engine is finished. i'm just doing planning for the levels and stuff right now.

meanwhile you can play with the physics demos on my site. that's basically the physics in the game with a few changes.

yeah, i was thinking perhaps in the final gameplay prolonged exposure to the black pollution would kill you. so there'll probably also be some monsters constantly shooting tar at you. maybe if you kill them there'll be a burst of tar. so you have to avoid the tar and also wash it away to clean up the planet.

Looks awesome! Can't wait for the full release. I also remember when your site was first mentioned here, waaaaaaay back. Your old physics demos are cool, too, might I add.

Looks good, but will this have destructible or deformable environments?

well there's definitely a deformable environment because the environment is based on verlet integration. so nice and springy.

the requirement is you need java. do you have the latest version? (6)

the java requirement was for killa.

well, actually, i sort of had this idea already. the youtube video was kind of like god mode, so that's why he didn't die from exposure. he could also do things like picking up huge boats and throwing them around. i guess i'll have some power ups later on in the game for more speed and power and stuff. i like the throwing around of big objects because there are some huge splashes and a good demonstration of the fluid dynamics.

but you can get acknowledged for creating a level. i'll roll out the level editor soon.
