I, personally, really liked the demo, I wasn't really expecting it, so it was nice to get something before release! Now, I will most likely be buying this game, this guy seems nice, and he deserves it, when do you see a game with destruction like this, being able to create the awesome destructable things, AND get to place explosives?! Wow, and only $8.07?!?!?! That is an awesome deal!

oohhh.. only 8.07? i was expecting him to sell it for about 15-20 dollars. which would get me kinda wondering why? but 8.07 is a reasonable price. considering buying.

Finally I have something to play around with, while waiting for Vertigo
And honestly, at 5€... without hesitation.
Bank transfer is on its way and as my bank is slow as hell I'll be playing in 4 or 5 days... I really should get a paypal account.

After playing around with Detonate a few hours now, I must say: It is really great fun, but could be so much better with a few minor tweaks:

-There should be a hotkey for going a level up and down in "Create"-mode, it woud speed up building a lot. If you are building a skyscraper you could just press the hotkey and click your mouse in alternation to create a "pile" very fast. Would be easy to implement and would just speed everything up.

-Speeding up the building process... not a minor tweak but really (pretty please ) needed: copy&paste. It would make building so much faster and you could concentrate on building instead laying floor tiles for half an hour...

-Why does the bomb laying menu change size with distance to the bomb? If you're to far away it's to small and if you are inside a building laying bombs in narrow corridors it's so big you can't handle it very well. You get used to it, but if it's an easy on/off switch switch it off, please.

Last but not least: Why does Esc escape to main menu without asking? - I somehow always try to reset a house by pressing Esc... it just seems the right thing to do, and I always end up in main menu.

That said: It's really worth the money, it's great fun and I hope we will get some house-sharing started here on fun-motion

Edit: and a little skyscraper to get things going

Mate, we're not developers. You need to tell this to Mark Judd. Which you can't.

hmm steelbonr... it was meant to be steel(back)bone... nothing dirty in there

Regarding my feedback: What he does of it is of course his choice, I'm quite happy with the game as it is now and you certainly get used to the controls.
Which of course doesn't mean they couldn't be better

That said, I would be happy if some of you could test whether this building works for you, it's the second half of my skyscraper and it crashes my game with a memory access error.
I tried it two times now, and everytime the second tower is ready it crashes my game in destroy mode, the first try even crashed building mode.

Well too bad . I just hate when i have finally build something huge and detailed and go to "Destroy" it screams at me about some memory violations.

Nowhere.
There are no official forums or servers where anyone could upload their buildings. but here is one that i made.

Extract it to your Detonate\Buildings folder.

After a few days of not being able to obtain the game by any other means I resorted to buying it. For my stubbornness i had to pay 13 cents more. The price in now $8.20
