Cool thenecronwolf (not out yet)

As described in my other post, I am looking for some people to help me with textures for my game, thenecronwolf .

Anyway, my idea is already in production in DarkBasic, but I feel that I might need to switch to that C+ thing or whatever

It would be a sort of ragdoll fighting game set in a fully destructible free-roaming enviorment. You could drag the ragdoll character of your choice to make a fully-moddible attack move, and then bind it to one of your keys. Plus it would use a physics engine similar to the one in the new Star Wars game.

Any help would be greatly appreciateable

Same engine as the new Star Wars? You mean Force Unleashed right? The one built under the Euphoria engine... You just got my attention! Good luck, dude

No, he means the wood braking, metal bending and people trying to catch falls, no ACTUALLY the engine itself, just what it does

But yeah, good luck!

Well, I've made just a few demos, but I think that I have the language down (rem create_23object what??? )

Anyway, for the next-gen consoles, I would try to use the help of Natural Motion, but the game is mostly based for pc.

By the way, is there a way I can take the models I've created and turn them into a (good) ragdoll?

Right now I'm focusing on making the water so it deforms yet has a shader imported to it. As soon as I get it good enough to go (pre-beta stage anyone? ) I'll upload it.
It would really be nice if I had someone with a good physics engine experience to teach me the steps.

I'm really determined to get this idea underway, so I don't really have to worry about that, what I do have to worry about is a lawsuit with WarHammer .

I've been thinking about this game for about two years now, so it's not some far-fetched idea

I'm trying to recruit some people into helping me, if it get good enough, hopefully Walaber can help me

Why would there be a lawsuit?

(sorry if this answer is obvious, I might just be tired)

The game would be based around the Necron army, I hope that they would pay me instead if it were to be a good game!

Cool! Any suspected release dates, demos, videos, etc?

EDIT: Also, is there a website or forum other than this one where we can monitor its progress?

Wow, I'm inquisitive today...

Well, it's not necessary to get a copyrighted idea... Make a game nice and fun as you want it to be, and the textures/names etc will be the last thing to add. I'm sure you can find another name for your army, like... Sumotorians or something else I saw many great projects cancelled by lawsuits (most of them have to do with MiddleEarth and StarWars universes) and it's just sad
