But, for the record, it wasn't an insight, just something for everyone to pass the time...

Also, I know helicopters will be in the game, but will we be able to pilot them? I read somewhere that rockstar bailed on the whole piloting scene...

I just LOVE how those far-away objects have... Hmm, how should I say this, an artistic feeling (They look like painted) . Hopefully it's not overused, though.

I doubt we will get much of that. Its more about character and atmosphere. I think they are making us wait so that when we actually get the game we can see all the sweet stuff for ourselves. They are purposely keeping things hidden from the gaming press just so we get to experience it first hand. I think thats a great way to do it, its not as much fun to do something that you already know is going to happen!

Actually I read this trailer is going to be more action oriented, so I believe we will be seeing more of those great ragdolls.

I'm guessing the trailer will just be more cutscenes to explain the story, maybe about snitches since the trailer is aka "Everyone's a rat", and there will probably be a few action scenes like shooting, driving, fighting, etc.

I'm hoping maybe since it's the last trailer, there will be some kind of surprise, kind of like how the last San Andreas trailer introduced sky diving (I think).

Ps3 is also getting it's own downloadable content. OFC it's not as good as 360's dlc (since MS paid R*... Waaaay too much), but it is something. Personally, I hope it's new weapons, new areas or something similiar.

There are plenty of mini-games tucked away in GTA IV. Old favourites pool, basketball and Go Go Space Monkey return, joining new games such as darts. You can even visit the driving range to practice your golf swing. For fights, of course.

Hope they delete that in the PC version since PCs are more powerful (on the internet)(and graphics)

I have a feeling the PC version will be the same. You just can't have that kind of detail in MP yet when dealing with such a huge map.

San Andreas was also running on a very outdated engine when it was released. That's why sa-mp could run without a hit to graphics.

This will be my last post in this thread, since it seems every of my posts that say something arguable in it, gets an debate after and most of the users are against me :(

ON: Most of us think that there will be an PC version some months after the console release. Because it has been so for some gta's ,and this is quite an big release so most fans of gta will be getting it. And because alot fans are PC users I don't know why R* would let so much money go to waste.

It's just that they want console versions to sell, so they release the PC version eons later so that people will buy the console version rather then going with the PC - which offers modding, and is subject to more widespread piracy. Consoles dont have more power than pc's they just developers can optimize WAAAAY more for consoles because they dont have to tak into consideration different hardware, never wondered why what is a 4mb graphics processor in an xbox can run high def?

More and more ppl are downloading their games from the internet. So sometimes porting a game to PC isn't profitable enough and worth the work, so it just doesn't happen.

i wouldn't say so, go on a "link" site and type some game and search you shall get quite a load of private "links" so you have to register to get the game "link" and usually to register you need to pay. so the uploader gets his own part of the deal, I think why shouldn't these uploaders buy the game when they could get more money in the end when the downloaders got to register.

Every group usually buys a copy of the game, though, which leads to a good bit of sales. There's a lot of groups out there, and they are all in direct competition with each other. You usually only see big releases by Class, 420DopeMan, Razer1911, and FAiRLiGHT (not so much FAiRLiGHT anymore, though), but there's hundreds of lesser-known groups trying to beat them out every day.

(I don't condone piracy in any way, I'm just interested in the "scene")

I just read a 9 page review of this game in the Official Xbox Magazine, I would give you guys a link but it's in the magazine. They gave it a 10/10. The guy who reviewed it said that he could talk about every cool little detail that they've added to this game, he could've filled the entire magazine and still not even have scratched the surface. He even said that it was "Utterly amazing in every respect" or something like that. You should really read the review if you'd like more details on the game.

Just read that for the new melee-combat system, Rockstar consulted a UFC master of the Israeli special-forces martial art, Krav Maga. Awesomeness to the max. Got it from a factsheet at gtaforums.com. I dont want to pirate it, i made an exaggeration but i know that alot of people will pirate it. Also its a lot harder to make games for the pc, if theres a single bug and you dont make a patch for it, everryones gonna be on your ass.

About the pirate stuff there are chips that make pirated games work in the consoles...

In that case, allow me to expand. They did a direct port, which screwed up the game royally. No mouse controls, barely any graphical options, the cutscenes looked awful, even the lighting was screwed up. 'Twas a disgrace.

RE was a perfect game on the consoles, it went to pc and it became a pile of crap.

If there will be a PC version, (which there most probably will) then anyone pirating this game I'll get really pissed off at. Normally when people pirate games I don't really care, but with this game it's totally different, I mean this game looks, hears and plays so incredibly well that I would give triple the cost without hesitation. R* really deserves it.

As for the porting: I somehow can't believe it is as hard as you say. Yes, maybe the gfx options take a while but lightning and all that stuff shouldn't screw up just because of porting it to pc :confused:

Consoles can be optimized so much because, for example every 360 has the same basic hardware so they havent got to take into account whether people will have dual core or wont have how much memory they have or what graphics card they have.
