Bolth 2d motocycle games. I prefure X-Moto as it is easyer to control, better physics, free, open source, and updated more often!

I like these games, thay are quite fun. I used to play alot elma (aka elastomania) some years ago.
I'll give X-moto a try :)
EDIT: Was quite good, X-moto is way better than elma.
Stupid that X-moto doesn't support Gamepad :(

X-Moto was cool. I've tried elma before, but I don't really like it.

Nice! I was once hooked on elma, playing through the whole thing and then making levels for ages and ages... but I can't play it anymore. I totally overdid it. :p It was also a procrastination tool during the final crucial and stressful part of my school life, so there are some weird psychological associations there too. I'll definitely check out X-Moto, though. Good to see a level editor is available for it too.
Edit: Well, X-Moto's graphics engine is definitely better, and it is fun for the reasons that elasto mania was. A few things bug me about it though.. for a start, it's far too blatantly derivative of elasto mania. Everything down to collecting apples, the awkward left and right 'jolt' (rather than a smooth application of force, which would be better), the way the screen flips when you hit space.. it's all too much the same, where improvements or creative touches could easily be made. Also, the bike is extremely weirdly proportioned to the rider - it's too short, or the rider is too tall.
I'm all for the open source movement, and replicating apps (like office and so on) seems reasonable, because the software's functions are there because the user needs them. When it comes to games, though, they are something creative and expressive of the developers\artists who work on them, and there seems (to me) little point or integrity in simply duplicating someone else's creation, with an improved feature here or there. At least take the basic premise and try to make something better or unique. Or at least get some unique art direction.
