Hi fellow physdudes!

Let's spread the word of fun-motion.com. Whenever ur posting something on a physics or game related forum, make sure to have http://fun-motion.com in ur signature. That way fun-motion will get more and more visitors, thus meaning more suggestions, links, news and topics to discuss on. Matthew, great job on the site man.. been arround here from arround the very begining and it's amazing how it's taken a sudden flight.

Thx for the good work n keep it up!

I thumbed this up on Stumbleupon ^_^

Actually, I think it'd be better if we had a signature contest. An IMAGE signature contest. It could show various games and the link and the image would lead to FM when linked.

Oh, and I did my part. Posted on Toribash forums, and a few others.

Attracting people to this forum will attract some spammers along the way.

Juggz, that's the most retarded thing I've seen you say.

Sorry to say it, but...that's a completely stupid idea, because spammers have no limit. If you WILLINGLY attract them, they'll keep coming. As well as bots and various others.

AG: Well, if you simply have a link in your sig, yes...probably. However, if you have an image, bots won't be able to see the link, and most spammers won't see the link as many forums have IMAGE viewing disabled for guests, while normal links are seen. So yeah...

@Dj Demetrius,

That would be great! U know, maybe we can start some cult like the Scientology. We'd form strong opions on social taboo's. Every time we are in the news we'll pull out our *fun-motion.com*© flags. Then we'll shout our *fun-motion.com*© anthem. And we'd be so cool! :D

sorry.. my mind skidded a lil of track ;)

Anyways, i'd like to know wo might be interested in trying to see if we can group up some of the guys here on the forum for sharing ideas on what they think physics based gameplay should or should not be like.

I myself am able to do some programming in fairly basic languages. I momentarily am in a position with too much free time on my hands... yes, that really is possible.. For some time now i've been thinking to do a side-study, just for the fun of it. To break down my story, it all comes down to this:

I would be happy to see some talents, and/or people with dedication, group up in an effort to create a physics based game. So if u have any talent at all.. that u can share. Please do post it in this thread. If there is enough animo we can ask Matthew to open up a seperate page on the forum.

The idea, as u've read (have u read?), is very attractive. For one because there is an active community out there. Reviewing our products and that way we receive critism by the gaming comunity, wich we can consider of laying more focus on if needed. We will have the internet as the biggest manual we could ever have wished for. The recources out there are plenty, so even with little or no knowledge, everyone will get to learn and enjoy the time spent on creating something. No doubt about it, fun-motion is able to get a leading role when it comes to physics games. I hope fun-motion will maintain the leading informational source of physics based games in the physics filled future.

that's all.

I'm all up for teaming up to create a physics game. However, I need someone to help me set up my compiler(s) and libraries, along with ODE or some engine, because ...well..that's the only thing I'm having trouble with.

Oh, and I'm making a FM banner right now, but I need screenshots from various games...

I've had "create Fun-Motion badges" on my to-do list for awhile (little rectangle graphics people could put on their blogs and things). Suppose I should finish that up!
