I do agree the use of physic in this game is not really *that* extended, but there is indeed, in the calculation of the bullet trajectory, which is very realistic : when you fire your rifle, you need to think about the distance between you and the target (and thus the gravity the bullet will suffer and the timelapse between the shot and the impact), and be aware that your bullet will continue its way through one or more bodies.

If you liked JFK Reloaded, you should consider playing the demo of (or buying, and it's worth it) Sniper Elite, in which you play the role of a sniper in WW2. Your bullet can be affected by the gravity, its speed and the wind. Your aiming is also altered by your position (prone/crouched/standing up), your cardiac rate and you can stop breathing for a short amount of time to stabilize your aiming. (I've not begun a thread to recommend this game as I don't think it's a physic based game, whereas it has, in fact, a good implementation of it, as well as a good collision engine).

By the way, why a large number of person focuses on ragdoll physics ? I think it's the least important part of physic implementation in games, and a game which only uses ragdoll physics should *NOT* be considered a physic game, at least not a physic centered/based game. (and that reminds me of one of Danny's posts which was saying something like "yhae an phicicycs gmae it an games were bodys it teh ground like there ded, ahahah lolololol its funny kinda"............stupid :D )

Mmh.... sorry but the link seems to be perfectly working.
Try typing the URL manually or just go to www.the-underdogs.info and search for 'jfk' in the game database.
A bit short of a game, but you have many ways of killing jfk, and the 'right' (historical) one is not the funniest, even if it's very challenging.
Try interfering with the drivers behavior : if you kill one of them, the car'll slowly stop, but if you just hurt him, the car'll go mad and eventually crash in the scenery....

I don't usually try to recreate the actual events of the day. I just shoot random drivers to make some funny ragdoll scenes.

Once I was playing and the Benny Hills theme came on. It was... surprisingly fitting.

The official game website is closed, and so it's impossible to download from it. The game was originally shareware then was released for free. You can still find demo downloads on the net, but it's useless.
The download from the underdogs works for me. It might not work for you because you're behind a proxy or a restrictive firewall. Everything is explained on the download page at the underdogs, read everything carefully, you might find the answer to your problem.

I just typed "JFK Reloaded Full Download" it worked. Now I Enjoy Hours of trying to get it just right. JFK was a good leader and t'was a shame he was killed like that. All the profits should go to the Kennedy Family as the game does have someones Grandad on it. It's like having a game with Princess Diana and you have to total the car in the tunnel. Overall: Good Game, Not so good Motive.

Ah, finally got it... Very cool game indeed, it's fun to put the cars (or whatever) to chaotic from the options menu and then shoot one driver... Everyone goes mad :D
BTW. Does anyone know can this game be modified? like making the sniper auto, adding more cars, making the cars drive to tree or something... That'd be cool...

Thta's where I got mine from. It's amazing how much news it stirred up. I mean, there is a Kennedy family and JFK was liked. There are no Hitlers and most people hate(d) him.

**** me this is an amazing game!
I just played it for the first time and took some random shots at the car, nothing much seemed to happen, but then when you review it, I was so socked about how much detail it goes into.

I hope you lot liked it as much as I did!

This is pretty fun. I played for a while, and although I bet many politicians would try to arrest me, I had a blast. It was cool messing with the AI and the physics, like killing the driver and watching the car spin out. I always laugh when the driver dies, and the car stops and I can just pelt the passengers of all the cars with bullets. I killed 14 people in one go, heh.

I bet you all think I'm some crazy lunatic now... Meh. :D

Here's something... But detail to highest and make the car movement crazy (one step up from exaggerated) then shoot the first car (before the jfk limo) It may take a couple of goes to shoot the driver, but then the first car will stop, the second will speed up, and crash into the first car. Almost everyone will fly out and then the rest will be sitting ducks, ready to be shot. ^_^ fun!
