Havok, because every game that used it was a great game.

Ok then, is Perfect Dark Zero a good game? Is Cars a good game? What about Ant Bully, 50 Cent: Bulletproof , 24: The Game, Backyard Wrestling: TGTN, Astro Boy, Pariah, URU: Ages Beyond Mist good games?
Though I do see alot of great indegration in games these days espicially Strangle Hold and Crackdown. Oblivion indegrated Havok not very well and that is why the rag dolls feel to shallow and light, the way the enemy flinches after a sharp object wacking there back.
One more thing is I forgotten to add Source physics engine which is from Valves Half Life 2 and also a different company that made Dark Messiah.

The Half-Life 2 uses Havok.
Also, my personal favorite physics engine is the engine created specifically for Doom 3, yes it does have problems with multiple stacked objects, but the ragdoll physics are the best I've seen; bodies have real weight to them.

Oh yeah sorry, I gotten mixed up with the main engine.

Havok (Because of the l337 way it was used in the Source engin). I realy like Newton too. I havint tryed Bullet, but if it's a plug in for Blender (I do use Blender), that would be cool too.

Havok has been really well used by some games.

This actually should have two parts...
"Commercial"...and "Freeware".
I know for a fact Newton and ODE are the best freeware you could want. Even if they don't have the greatest accuracy, but more like the best accuracy/requirements ratio.

Its is like an overall topic. If a dev I would try to buy Havok or PhysX or make a cusom physics engine because the biggest thing I notice is in our days physics adds to gameplay. But if they use a very standard free physics engine that would also destroy the frame-rate because freeware are not awlways the bst quality but a commercial physics engine has an entire team behind it making it better and better every day.

Smashing ragdolls around is soooo satisfying though.

Hmm I guess not every game then :(

Well yeah. Not even many games that have a heavy use of physics are that good. Some of the best are (IMO) Toribash, Cell Factor: Revolution, Monster Madness, Flat Out Series, Auto Assualt and Switchball.
IMO the next will be Crysis when it is out.

If you remember the glass simulation from the Meqon Tech Demo then you should have a look at Alph Prime. It uses Meqons glass effects but they are no as detailed.

I HATE newton for sure! if you see walabers trampoline it has NEWTON physics! So people go through it! (and if you look REALLY closley at the "powered by newton" it show a part of a letter going through the tramp!

Uh.....bump, much?
Anyways, I voted Havok, as they've had some pretty awesome games that use it. In terms of freeware I'd go for bullet or newton.

I'd have to say havok, Because even though it's not the most advanced physics engine ever, the games make, by far, the best use of it :D

I'd have to say Reality is the best physics and graphics engine package... Perfect FPS all the time no matter what your machine specs are :D
