In zombie theory the only reason zombies are fast or not is dependint on when the zombie became a zombie see when somthing becomes a zombie the the body it dead itself but something keeps the thoughts alive (such like a virus) so depending on how long the body was dead determens how much muscle is still there... more muscle faster they run

I understood it at the first read. Longer dead, inanimate, completely stopped -> more "withered" muscles, therefore less strength when coming back from the dead. Yeah, just felt about saying that. I have no idea how he came up with a theory like that, though.. :D

The more prominent features on the boss 'infected' become their tools, the boomer was a fat guy in life, and now he's a bomb in 'unlife' as we'll call it seeing as how they're not zombies.
