New Skin?

hey, I was thinking. The FMF skin right now is very... you know, default-looking. It's not interesting.

I think that we should work into adding a new skin to the forums, one that looks great, but also fits the Fun-Motion style.
And you know, I could help, too!

I don't know if this is already going on, but please tell me what you think. :)

Yes, that is good. I've never said this before, but I don't really like the current Fun-Motion logo. The words "Fun Motion" with those childish looking letters just make it seem... childish. And I'm not saying that the logo should be like a blood splatter with the words "Fun-Motion" in 'em, but rather a sleeker looking logo.

...You think the current logo looks childish? I think it's one of the more professional logo's out there. It doesn't try to stand out, and doesn't seem out of place. I think it's fine, but that's just me.

Also, why get a new skin? This one's perfect. Easy on the eyes, bland, people who aren't into physics games (or more specifically 'noobs' as they're called) won't even look at a forum like this, so we get less of them and more of serious people.

The only problem I have with the current theme is the buttons. I absolutely hate vBulletin's default buttons, they're just so bulbous and......bad looking. It would be a simple thing to replace those if Matthew has FTP access (which I'm sure he does), somebody just needs to design the new buttons.

In a serious note the logo is fine the way it is, but I wouldn't mind if it was a little larger.

Pink generally looks awful when used more than in little hints or hues, though. It seems good on the logo because it's used as more of an effect. As a solid color I doubt it would look very good on the forum...
