Well I have no idea. You should just contact the Newton people. I mean the Fun-Motion community aren't the developers and we have no clue what your system is like.

hey dont reject him so fast, its possible that someone could answer his question, the people on this forum have often surprised me with how well they can answer legitamate questions (sometimes even the infamous request ones). Sorry i can't help, but someone might be able to, but go try the Newton people if you haven't done so yet.

I never really meant to seem harsh. If I did I am sorry. But maybe you are missing something. Or your system doesn't have enough of something (e.i. RAM, or Graphics Card).

Maybe try the download link from the Newton website? other than that, i dont no what to tell you. But, once u get it working, youre gonna have lots of fun. And I mean LOTS!

That message is in a different language than English, if anyone could figure out what language it is and translate it, I'm sure we could figure out what your problem is...

Maybe German? What nationality is the creator of Newton?

EDIT: Yep, the creator of Newton's Playground lives in Germany, so that's most likely German. OFF TO BABELFISH!

EDIT2: Okay, it translates to: "Access injury with address 00000000. Reading from address 00000000"

That makes me think you have inadequate access to some of the files relating to the program... Are you an admin on your computer? What operating system do you have?

That would make sense. Do you get the message in Newton or before it loads, beacuse ifit is before then I think I have an idea, but if not then I have no clue. I don't feel like going through the explanation if it isn't. Thats right I'm lazy.

Find _crash_backup.xml and paste it's content here. It'll probably be just computer garble, or in German, too, but it could help.
