Just wanted to congratulate the new moderators that were chosen and hope they will do well.
Anyways, I posted it here because this place seemed more open to the moderator topic.
Anywho, do what you will with this topic. Just wanted to congratulate those chosen.
Edit: Thanks for point that out CX...

I'll do an official announcement of the moderators later today or tomorrow--we're just hashing out the policies and standards right now.

Congrats guys.
I think those are the best people Matt could've chosen on this community. I hope you do a good job.
Erm...have fun? >.>

Congrats to the folks that have been accepted as mods (I still haven't figured out where Matthew put up the names of the moderation team though xD). I wasn't accepted but I've agreed to help out if it turns out Matthew needs more mods down the road (in other words, a backup moderator :D)
Again, congrats guys!

Well, I don't know how you did it, but congratulations!
I've been one of the first members of the site, let alone the forum, and I still didn't get it.:( I'm a friend of Matteo (Ragdoll Masters), and have helped him beta test some versions of Ragdoll Masters. Also, I created a few "hardcore" ("Hacking" or "exploiting" the physics engine to create new forms of play. aka. Trampoline and Magnetic.) levels for his shareware version of N-Ball. He told me about fun-motion (The site, not the forum), and I joined, right when it started up.
I'll, as always, stay a active member. I'm one of the "players" (as addressed in Matthews lecture.) That seek out games with some sort of physical based engine. I rarely play games now, without some kind of physics based interaction with the "avatar" and "environment".

No worries man :) I'm sure Matthew most likely asked if you'd be interested in modding for him down the line, in case he needs a few extra hands. He did with me. As for being one of the first members, I don't mean to start any flame wars (I really hope this doesn't get taken the wrong way ^^; ) but I'm sure Matthew wouldn't have biased in any way towards or against people who had been here since the start (such as you) or people who had recently joined the forums but have experience modding in other places (such as me). The people he picked were probably good choices (unless Cheddar managed to get in there somehow :P) and he's mentioned (to me at least) that he might need a few backups, so there's still a chance for some of the folks that didn't make the cut the first time round :D
As for me being an active member, I will admit I might fade in and out now and again but I'll try and be as active as I can (including throughout college xD)

Thanks, Relys, but I honestly don't know why he chose me ahead of you... I was almost certain I wouldn't get picked. But I guess I did.. (Sorry if I'm a little off-beat, I still feel like I'm in a fantasy. :D)

I'd think it has a lot to do with posting stupid topics such as "It's my birthday"

Don't be an ass. (That was AFTER I wasn't chosen, peoples.) I was wondering what I should get with my money. It was also a statement, that we need a off-topic place.;)
If I were a mod, I would lock this.
