Another Dan-Ball physics masterpiece. If you were mildly disappointed with that Pluto asteroid whackin' game, or you're getting bored waiting for Spore to finally come out, then look no further!
I just hope he makes updates to this as frequently as he does to the dust game. It certainly could do with a few more features (accumulating debris, binary star systems that work, even life if it's not too hard). I haven't seen any other form of program where you can simulate a star system.
What kinda things would you like in this game?
VIDEO (although you can hardly see the asteroids, sadly. YouTube quality for you) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUATFkuy4RY)

yeah, this isnt something new from dan-ball, its been around for a while. I dont think it is as fun as even the fluid game, it gets really boring real fast, and i really doubt hes gonna update it, he hasnt updated it for a while. Sorry to burst your bubble :(

Like these kind of physics games using attractors and stuff are one of my favorite types of games, but i have yet to see a truly fun one. This is prolly as fun as the "e" game

There are tons of programs that simulate star systems.
One of my favorite being www.orbitsimulator.com

I played this a bit, a little while ago after rummaging through dan-ball. It's only fun for a little while.
And looseskrewz, that looks cool! I'll try that in a little while.

I know it's not new. But some people might not have seen it (i.e. me).

On the same web page I spotted a game called Micro Panda.
Micro Panda: http://dan-ball.jp/en/javagame/panda/
Its like you are driving a car but it is a panda.
On Topic:
That "Planet Simulation game is alright but I must say nothing special. On the website alone I found 5 other Planet Sims.

That was an interesting game, Micro Panda. I didn't even know you could do real-time lighting in Browser-based Java. The vehicle physics were also very good.

Well I guess if you have a belated interest in astronomy, evolution (and star trek?) it's better. It took me ages to make a solar system even close to ours. Nice challenge.
