Hey, sorry for the bother.

I was just wondering, is there any sort of BBcode or whatever it's called for protecting text so that only registered members can see the text within? I was looking through one forum, and there was some text in a box like this:
PROTECTED: Please register to see this.
Kind of like that. But instead of saying 'Code' it said 'Protected.' Can we do this here?

I want to know because I want to post a password for a download, but I want the password only seeable by Fun-Motion Forum members.

Short answer; No

Long answer; Sounds to be a plugin and looking at the almost completely unedited forums I don't think matthew has any plans on installing it.
I think, at the state the forums are in now, you can't make something private from non-members (weather it be a section of text for a post).
If you really need to password the download then the only way to do it is to get the members to PM you for the pass.

You can do things like this if you have the members post on the thread, and you e-mail/PM them too.
