Maybe someone can be a little more helpful then the previous users. When I download the Remote Control Car demo (PC Version) and open the zip file all I get is a .dir file which I'm assuming is just a directory however I can't get to the files in the directory. It's treating it as a file and not a directory. I've even tried for the hell of it trying to cd into it. No go. Any ideas?

Well, there are a ton of different file types with the name of .dir.
A list of them and the known programs to open them can be found here (http://filext.com/file-extension/dir).
