Happy birthday Matthew! If it wasn't for you starting this site, I would probably would never of gotten into CG. The reason behind that was this site made me think about physics a lot more, both in games and the real world, the interest made me pick up Blender to the fluid simulation. Now I have been creating physics based animations for 2 years.

I also find myself playing games for physics most of the time as well. And I really get into what they done to pull something off, an example of which is when I was playing Stuntman Ignition a few days ago, I noticed they optimized performance by eliminating collision detection by making fractured bodies only check for collisions in the fracture group and the environment.
