ok over the years of playing toribash I have learn't how to do allot of thing like make a private head skin that no one else can see, make mods, make my own art of cheese fu, and learned most of all how to bash. So I opened up this discution because i want to hear what you guys learned over the weeks/mounths/years of playing toribash.

No. Seriously, despite the awful grammar and a bit weird topic, isn't this subject as qualified as the rest? We've had Cortex Command topics, and others, why not Toribash? :\

Also, he can't go to the Toribash forums, because he's banned from there.

By the way, if he got a second chance, it's for a reason. Let Matthew decide when his chance is gone.

Now about Toribash, I love this game. Hell i even paid for it. Its orginal in its gameplay and the physics are awesome. My fav move is grabbing my own shoulders and then pulling my arms off, then using the arms as bats.

Because as far as I know the only thing you can't do in the demo version is save replays and join more servers...

There isn't much to talk about in Toribash really. It's just an awesome game that's kinda like Soldat, you play it a bit and forget it till' the urge gets you again. I personally regret hyping the game so badly untill I forgot about it. :p

Yeah, I do think this game has been hyped up horridly, coz when you play it, your like: "Is this REALLY the game they mean?!"

Not really. That just happens when you actually have to think to make a move. Force yourself to play a month daily, and you'll see it comes natural.

Also I have 'paid' for the full version. Not exactly paid. Not warez or anything, but, cause I live in Romania and have no credit/debit card to pay for anything outside the border, talked to hampa and we worked something out (well...working something out)

If you see me in-game I'm [Spirit]SSJokker. Mostly on Jousting, Demo/Pro Judo, or Wushu. Maybe Sambo.

I love Toribash, although the newer versions didn't come up with too new things. I still wait for the unlimited joint/body parts version. It's not too hard.

At first I learned how to fight while balancing. I'm some kind of a veteran, so balancing isn't that much of a problem anymore. Now I concentrate on creating silly mods and owning the vampire - clan (they are all n00bs :p).
I hope that Toribash will develop further, maybe with environment and items.
I honestly don't care that it could possibly change the "spirit of toribash". I
want to be able to shoot and hide on a tree :D

Vampiric clan. And it's been disbanded. marcuss was ...well...an idiot at it anyway.

Also, just wait till sometime in the end of May. 'Till then, learn Lua. You'll see. :D That'll probably make 2v2, objects and everything else, very possible.

tori bash is an OK game. it isn't worth no $20 though. i think if i knew how to play it better i would have more fun with it. i mean, why would i spend $20 on a game i can't play good? if i can't learn how to play it better, i will get bored with it.

I understand you were banned on the toribash forums. (I wonder why) Try not to get banned there, and try not to get banned here. To do that, you really need to use some grammar in your posts, because nobody likes a bad speller. Try searching for threads before you make one. This is a gigantic problem, so please, If you want a question answered, for example, If Killzone - Liberation for Xbox 360 got a good review, just Google it, and you will come up with the answer without anyone yelling at you.

What did cheddar do in the first place?

He used to just randomly post game ideas. There was one involving a bunch of rubber ducks, a small stream, a cannon, and sunlight, I believe. He got a particularly bad reputation from that. Just do an author search for CHEDDAR. You'll see some of his old threads. The were far, FAR worse than his current ones.
