good idea for a gymnastics physics game

well it's dang good to be back, sorry for a off topic and un fun motion coment matt. but anyways my idea is a game were you can create your own custom levels and add balence beams and bars and much more. the controles and the gameplay may actuely be like skistunt but it's just an idea. Anyway you would jump onto stuff and flip around and try to do more and more crazy tricks like fliping, roling, jumping, swinging, ect. so once again im sorry for my actions and im realy a nice guy so if you guys could forgive me on the forums it would make me happy:)

Imagine Endorphin-style moves, controlled via mouse, with drag-drop beams and things.

Now. I would be willing to try some sort of game like this, but problem is how to simplify the controls so it isn't extraordinarily hard to use...

Cheddar, in my opinion, what YOU have to understand is that you are really annoying to most of the people on this forum because you keep on posting up these game ideas.

I was just a lurker when CHEDDAR was first around, but I honestly think he needs to learn a lesson. I don't think you realize, cheddar, why people are getting mad at for posting your game ideas, which are sometimes creative. The reason people get mad is because you say it like it should be done since you suggested it, only not in so many words. By doing so, you anger the people of this forum, as 1. There is no forum for game requests, and this one certainly wouldn't be it. 2. People don't like to be asked to do something out of the blue, especially if they don't like the idea. 3. I don't want to hear about an idea if no one is gonna do anything about it.

Beakless has a point, but so do Jokker and Razer, you need to stop posting these ideas, at least until you can realize that people don't want to hear about it unless you plan on doing something about it, otherwise it's just an empty post. HOWEVER, I also think that you HAVE contributed to the forum in your own way, although there are many better ways to do so, like finding a physics game and posting a link to it. But you need a little good flaming to make you a more productive member, not a Fuck Off post, that doesn't help anyone.

Anyway, that is a rather good idea. Somewhat like walabers trampoline (as stated before) but with balance beams, rings, and all those other goodies. The thing is, people like to use their own ideas and others' ideas are "last resorts" so to speak, when a person doesn't have a great idea or isn't feeling creative. If you are lucky (and I mean VERY lucky) someone may make a game out of that. Just don't wait around.

Good idea? Bad idea? Doesn't matter. Posting a game idea like this is pretty pointless. Anyone talented enough to actually make a game is also talented enough to have their own ideas.

What are we supposed to talk about in a thread like this? There's no actual game for us to try or discuss... we can basically say "Yeah, that'd be fun. So.... uh.. *tumbleweed* How about the weather, huh? There's been quite a bit of it lately. Yeah, it's been pretty weathery."

There's no reason to insult Cheddar, but there's also no real value to repeated game idea threads of this sort. If it keeps up, maybe we should have a "physics game ideas" thread, just one thread, in which people can brainstorm to their heart's content.. That way even if idea after idea were posted, they wouldn't clutter the forum.
