TOCa 3 has some of the best car physics in the racing game universe!
I can prove it with this link! (http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=7441686674721083891&q=Toca+3+car+wars)
(For PC,PS2 and XBox)
Discuss it here!

No. I'm sorry but I bought Toca 3 a while ago for this very reason and I was SO Dissapointed with it!. The physics are unrealistic, The cars are all rock hard AND all the damage is pre-modeled makig it totally predicable!
I'm hard-pushed to even call it a physics game...

That video didn't come across as anything remotely extraordinary... The collision modeling is fairly basic and as a result everything looks too rigid. This seems pretty common in racing games, and by now developers should have no problem overcoming it...
I mean, from a car-physics-programmer's perspective, even without any sort of advanced simulation, it wouldn't be hard at all to reduce the 'bounce' when a collision causes visible damage, to at least give the appearance that the crumpling of the chassis is absorbing kinetic energy.
The day I'm impressed with car physics is the day you can dynamically wrap one around a tree. :p

That is true :(

iw want a racing game, maybe a flat-out 3, for next-gen consoles using digital moleculare matter (dmm, same one thaqt's going to be used in force unleashed) for the car's shell, and something like rigs of rods for chassis

maybe a flat-out 3
You mean Flatout-total destruction?
(Its for the Xbox 360!)

Nope, that's Flatout 2.5.
There's practically nothing new, it's just next-gen version (better graphics, more physical objects etc.). So I wouldn't call it FO 3.

That looks like pretty standard car-physics to me.

exite-truck has nice deformation, but you cant see it very well because it resets in like 10 seconds

I think it's the Wii-game where you control your truck with wiimote? :D

Oh.........Fair enough.
My friend own a Wii, she got bored of it and said it was too much of a novelty, you know, like the EyeToy... cool at the time but gets old quickly.

On Xbox 1 I played Toca Racing 3. Probably the most frustrating racer I have played in my life.
The cars feel like they are rigid and also have a extremely insane heft.
