We had already had a disscussion on this over at the 'Car deformataion physics?' Thread... No we couldn't find anything - no download.

But We all really want it!

You could send e-mail to them?

No. You see, this isn't really a game or a public thing for downloading...

This is a complex system used by companies like Audi and Ford for crash testing without the hassle of using scientific crash dimmies which cost £1000's a go or making a brand new car just to destory it...

Companies pay VERY good money to use this neat little thing...................So..............like I said, If anyone has it , i'll be very suprised

I sure hope you aren't expecting a real-time simulation application. This is much like animations, they take a long time to compile. Here's proof from their own site that it isn't a "click and crash" simulation:

"Using PAM-CRASH parallel version on 16 processors, BMW now runs a full car crash test simulation overnight."

so that car deformation thing is $35 so thats like £17, sounds like a good deal
can you buy it from england?

"16 processors" "overnight". Needless to say, I don't think that will run on the computer of anybody here.

I know where to get it but don't think I can post it here.

I don't get the idea that anyone read that it took a whole night to compile a crash on a computer with 16 PROCESSORS. Like CX1329 said, it isn't gonna work people, don't waste your money.

Hey i found this program called PSEUDO INTERACTIVE CRASH. But cant find the link to download it. This is a car crash simulator where you you can set the speed and stuff and then crash in a wall. Really nice.:) Try download the videos and see what i mean.

Well I was looking for it, but something turned me off.

something along the lines of,

"Running 19 processors, PAM-CRASH 2G ran a realistic car wreck by morning!"

Whose got a few hundred grand to spend?

Beakless

Yeah, I guess you're right.

Well, now what? We just wait for the thread to die?

Maltor124

Or we could use it to have other people look for other crash simulators? It's worth a shot, maybe there are some toned down versions of it on the internet. Or at the very least a vehicle deformation demo that uses crashing into a wall to show it off, that'd be cool.
