Scudden Death 2 is a real-time 2D war game. You can play singleplayer missions and multiplayer splitscreen. You can even add additional levels and missions created by yourself or others, and generate random missions on the fly, using the in-game mission generator. The game features units like soldiers, planes, helicopters, cars, tanks, boats, submarines, turrets, radars, civilians, and various xtreme units like nuke, minigun tank, gauss tank, Rambo, Osama, predator, space ship, ufo, and more. Many of the xtreme units have been added due to requests and suggestions by fans.

The game is created by Domenic Team in 2001-2004, and was first released as shareware in spring 2004. Prior to the shareware version, various beta versions were released. The lead creator of the game is Bjørn Berggren.

Scudden Death 2 is the sequel of the freeware game Scudden Death that was released back in 2001.
The physics are quite simple. it has particles, missile velocities and of course the best GROUND DEFORMATION!

Agreed.

Just because it's got some physics, doesn't actually mean it's physics based..

Matter of crappy opinion versus somewhat non-crappy opinion. Have you ever played a game that we'd consider good? :V

The vehicle physics could be a bit better.. They don't even 'roll' at all, they stay at the same, umm, zero degree, even when going down a hill. Other than that, it's okay.

Physics are really weak, and it isn't physics based in any way. Though, I like it. Do you know any other game like this one, Dogfight or CC? I love 2D military tactics/action games.

Triplane turmoil (1) is pretty good. Dogfight stuff. Oh, the nostalgy..

I thought "should I put Triplane turmoil in the list?". And then, "no, with Doghfight it's enough".

Yeah, Triplane turmoil is really nice, it's sequel (released some years ago) isn't.
Why didn't they make it 2D?

Yeah, the sequel was a total failure. Sadly, TT 1 was great fun with my brother when we still played with the old, crappy computer.

Aaaaaaaaanywas, other mods, does this thread deserve to be locked or should it stay open and slowly die away?

This game is one of the best games I've ever played! About second best right under big rigs!

This has about the same amount of physics as Cortex Command.

5 letters.
B. U. R. N. E. D.

Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing is the worst game pretty much ever.
Gamespot gave it the lowest score they've ever given. And thats saying something.

Not so. Cortex Command has a much different (Read: better) physics system.
I know because I've been playing if for the past 5 hours.

Anyway, even though it has little game-important physics, I think it's still fun!
And 2 player (or more) splitscreen is a plus for me!
