First Look: Underworld Hockey Club

Hey All,

I've got the core mechanics down and now it's just a matter of improving the graphics and doing a lot of UI work, so I wanted to post a few in-game vids:

Underworld Hockey Club is an arcade hockey game that uses real physics for handling saves, checks, etc. It supports up to 5v5 multiplayer hotseat and/or network play.

Yes YES! I've been waiting months on this game, and I'm glad to say that it has definitely improved over the past few months.

The first build you sent me was so unplayable that I really couldn't play it for a few weeks. Thanks for the updates though. This game is tough as hell.

I found a bug: I noticed that the AI kept scoring against me by simply hitting the net from behind.

I also had few hang-ups here and there and ended up finally having to CTRL+ALT+DELETE my way out of it after it stopped responding.

Good game, and with work it could turn out to be something big.

Hey all,

The UHC beta has been going great. Based on user feedback I've redone the controls and improved the graphics. There's now a campaign mode where you can compete against other teams for cash prizes and outfit your team with custom equipment. Struggling in defense? Buy your defenseman an axe that can cut limbs off!

As mentioned in the subject, there's now a linux version available. 32 and 64-bit Linux users are encouraged to help debug the linux version.
