There are a lot of different falling sand games out there.
Pyro Sand, while not a downloadable one, is my favorite because of the Nitro element. A very nice explosion awaits you.

It's Pyro Sand, but, downloadable, and, faster.

I would strongly suggest checking out Burning if you have a Windows computer, and Wxsand if you have...well, anything other than Windows.

Burning Sand isn't open source, and, the creator hates Macs. So, no Mac version. However, Burning is CRAZY fast.

Wxsand is slower, has the advantage of semi realistic temperature, and is compiled for Windows, Linux, and Mac.

It depends on the maps. If you play it ONLINE with your friends on fun maps, it's fun.

I FRIGGEN LOVE CLONK!!!! I was so addicted for like the first month of it... then it slowly got more boring... but I still love it. I download lots of mods too :) .

Yeah, I'm a moderator at the Burning Sand forums, I go by "sandshifter" and I've been there for almost a year now. I think it is the best though, obviously. but I think wxsand and Engima Sand are the second best sand games though.

For Mac users, you can run the burning sand game on Mac os X with darwine, It just starts right up and is locked at 60fps... You need an Intel mac.
