Official Fun Motion Counter Strike Source server (Soon!)

I am close to having an official Css server with a password only for Funmotion users! (The game is great and is only $10 on Steam!)
We will have some sort of a discussion on what mods there will be and who will be admin. So I know that I will be setting up the server and whatnot and I will need some admins. Current admins (Or mods) here will automatically get admin if they have the game. I say that because they have proved themselves worthy in (Admin) situations. We will have custom or non-custom maps running all day (Hopefully) and we will be able to play without hackers! :)
SO If I get this thing running it (Might) be a nice step for Funmotion.
I will try to get the server up in running within the month. Yet I need to know what kind of mods,skins, or maps the server requires. So post it here for discussion.

I havent played CSS in a while, although i should be because i co - lead a clan lol and we have our own server, as long as it does'nt end up Dust2 24/7 im there and willing to help.

First, CS:S is a much more fun and team-oriented game. If you can't pay 10 bucks for a game that gives people over 500 hours of game time, Lord be with you.

Second, you don't have to pay through Steam. Buy HL2 retail and it comes with CS:S. Or it did for me at least.

Third, a CS:S server would be great for F-M. You better watch out for me though, just ask Odellus. :P Oh, and make it a normal rotation server. You know, with all the original maps like Aztec, Italy, Office, D1/D2, Piranesi, Nuke, Militia, Compound, Inferno, Cbble, Chateau, Prodigy, and Tides. None of those AIM maps or anything.

Oh, one more thing. If anyone here would want to play on my clan's servers, you guys are more than welcome.

Haha. Try playing in something above OGL and TWL without the AWP. Almost every single serious competitor uses the AWP. CEVO, CAL, CPL (which btw doesn't exist anymore), and other more serious leagues are based on the AWP. I'm not trying to come off as elitist, but the gun is far from noobish. There's a reason people get wtfpwned by good awpers, because they know how to aim. Plus, AWPing is harder than it seems. Scouters and other weapons are mobile, AWPs are not. The AWP is complete crap unscoped. You can't get shots while moving.

The game isn't meant to be realistic. This isn't Rainbow Six or America's Army. And you must see some crappy hackers, the reload on an AWP is horrendous. Most of those idiots use AKs because it only takes one shot to kill and has a much larger magazine.

Add instantspawn and remove the damn nade lvl and you'll have the best GG server ever. It's har to find those nowdays

Lol, are you kidding? Because the awp is a hackers dream weapon, it has a large enough magazine to last a whole round if the opposing team has 5 players it already has large damage amounts so its less obvious if someone is using a damage hack e.g. "omg 1 hit taken foot/200dmg." "dude, awp." "oh yeah." it doesnt take that long to reload and that doesnt really matter when your going round the map at 5000000mph now does it? Its also good at making walhacking less obvious because it'll go through nearly every surface in the game.

Wow. You must play a DM GG or something. Turbo = you get your new gun instantly instead of using one gun each round. The nade level adds a bunch of challenge, it would be WAY too easy without it. And instant respawn would just make it a deathmatch, and deathmatches suck.

5.People who play on surf maps and are amazing at them, then come on to a normal map get owned and call you a hacker. This actually happened to me when i was trailing someone for my clan. it was 6 - 0 to me he hadnt even got a shot on me and he kept going "go on a surf map, ill own ya" to which i replied "YOU WANT TO TRIAL ON A SURF MAP?!" then he left after being owned 10 rounds in a row accusing me of being a hacker and calling me some rather nasty names on ts.

You cant. Surf maps require many server changes to things like sv_gravity and sv_acceleration and other things, surf and normal maps dont work on one server.

I did play it when i got one of those 3 day trials off my friend and i really enjoyed it, went down to my local GAME store and it wasnt in stock, been buggin my mum to let me use her card to get it ever since.
