http://www.soylentsoft.net/
For the uninitiated
"Ichor is an action game based in fluid dynamics. Each player floats around the screen, trying to engulf his opponent with his own color.
Note: The GPU accelerated version of this game requires a GeForce 6800 or better and only works on nVidia video cards for the time being. The CPU version of this game requires at least a 3GHz Pentium 4 or equivalent."
P. S. It is an beta!!!

EDIT: It was updated: 2/21/2007 (I don't know what are the new features, so I go to download it.

I just did an awesome job. 500 points. For any monster, you gotta get as far away as possible, and gain enough speed to ram your liquid into it faster then its defenses can stop it.

Yes, I agree with you, but when the post is only to say "I love this game," it's not really the best time to bump. If the bump was to announce that the game was updated, sure. It's just that this doesn't seem nearly as appropriate. Back on topic: Ichor is very fun, but if it won't run for you, try Liquid War. It'll run on basically any Windows setup, and, imho, more fun.

Ichor is excellent. Every time you play it the experience is slightly different. The areas that the player can and can't go are decided directly by the forces acting on the fluid, which are influenced by the player or the opponents.
It's really innovative and fun, I keep coming back to it again and again.
Top score: 2440 - anyone beat it?
It would be great if a version of this game were made where people could verse each other over the internet. I hope the developers keep releasing new and improved versions of Ichor, it's what experimental, physics-based gameplay is all about - and it's open source.
