Text term at school there will be a science fair. I am going to make something sbout physics, but I do not know what sub topic to choose from (eg Why water has enough force to knock over you). (not a good idea but it is a start)
I was wondering if some body can suggest a topic for physics for me.
Thanks In Advance :)

blow something up and call it physics :) !

Ah, yes, the Mythbuster's method.

I tested how combustible different things are then explained why.
Was a great reason to set things on fire

go mythbusters! :)
you could always try my signature but explain why it's happening

2 things I forgotten to metion was you cannot blow something up and is not to use an animal but you can use insects.
I'd try the Grape+Cup+Microwave experiment, as seen on brainiac.

Yeah, I am not allowed to do anything dangerous. And I want to be a aspect of physics.

You could try This site (http://www.phy.ntnu.edu.tw/ntnujava/). It has a load of different java applets showing different physics principles, maybe you could get some inspiration through that?
I was also thinking you could try making some physics contraption on Armadillo run or something, then try and re-create it in real life, so you can investigate how accurate simulated physics really are, and talk about theories of energy transfer and such. that would be a bit tricky though, but it is an idea where no-one is likely to explode :)

What effect a piledriver has on a human being

Simulate what would happen if you fall from a 20 floored buiding.

Try using endorphin

Endorphin doesn't have wind resistance, so it's not so great at simulating 20 story falls.

When I say project I mean something that is not on a computer either, it is going to be shown at the school hall and I doubt I can bring a PC.

Make a rube goldberg machine?
LOL rube goldberg machine
i suggest a rail gun or a gauss gun (their always fun)
no i didnt go around shooting birds with mine:rolleyes:
EDIT*
or u could do physics in a D&D game

Well a railgun would be fun after you hit someone in the eye with it.

and then it would be hilarious

yeah my teacher can organize the rail gun. Lol
But I still do not know what to do there.

Well, one simple experiment is easy to do, and it's not dangerous, but it's using a microwave oven.
Put some marshmallows on a flat plate then put it in the microwave in a static position (remove the turning plate). After a few seconds, you should see some melting points at regular distance from each other. Stop the oven and measure this distance. Now look behind the oven and you should see the frequency at which the oven is working.
Now just multiply the distance between the melting point (which corresponds to the wavelength) by the frequency, and there you calculated the speed of light with a microwave and a bunch of marshmallows.
(speed of light = wavelegnth * frequency)

Do you mean like those catapaults? Good idea. Except of course they will be miniturized.

Anything with water is good. Like fountians, pressurized guns, etc.

Make a Flamethrower, just put car wash detergent in a super soaker. (no water)
Then stick a lit match just after where it comes out. Its highly flammable so sets on fire and then it sticks to stuff and burns... its awesome

I tried making a railgun for my science project. First, I made it using coild of metal that would be charged in sequence, sending a metal projectile flying.
After realizing I don't have enough aluminum to make that, I tryed making a railgun using acutal rails (i got a 95 in machine shop, so that was fairly easy), but then when I hooked them up to the lab power board (DC of course) nothing happened.
To make a railgun work, you need tremendous amounts of electricity, perfectly formed rails, and some superconductive metal, so don't try it unless you're rich (or crazy).
I would recommend the catapult.
You could calculate where the projectile will land based on its mass and how much force you apply.
