Reviews Resuming Soon...

Hey guys--just a heads up that reviews will be resuming soon. The Game Developer's Conference ate a week, and then recovery from that ate some more time (it seems I'm always juggling a bazillion projects).

There should be a new posted over the weekend, or Monday at the latest, at around two new reviews a week. Make sure you post any new game suggestions (http://www.fun-motion.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=5)!

(I'll put up a moderator application form next week, too).

i think there might be an error with where the ad was posted, because the text is moved over an overlapping. A mod will be helpful, I don't know why spammers are targeting this forum.

I'm not sure what you mean, i havent seen any spam yet.

there were a few spam threads and people were getting mad, but they were quickly deleted, a guy coming on saying. need vitamins? (or something simalar) and giving a list of websites that sell them

Against my better judgement, I'll apply for moderator position when it's available. I know how hard it is to be a moderator on forums and how easy you think it is at start, until the spammers and bots come in and make you angry.

However, even so, I don't want to see this forum become just any other forum, and I want to contribute to it, so I think the pro's are better than the con's.

Anyways, I'm glad we can expect reviews...I've been kind of bored lately and maybe that would get me off my lazy back and make me install a game...

PS. Firefox doesn't destroy the main page like IE7. =\

Confirmed. Though the ad positioning is ...well...awkward. The text gets squished. I have AdBlock so I'm not complaining. Well done.

I agree--it's a little bizarre. I used to place the ads manually in each review in order to get better placement. The new version just slaps an ad at the start of a post regardless.

They perform better there, and not that many people complain (actually very very few), so I guess it'll stay.

Probably, yeah. It might get pushed to tomorrow. You may have noticed that the site was down for nearly 10 hours yesterday, though--we had some issues with our hosting provider. I'm moving a few things over to a new box today, so that could eat a lot of precious reviewing time.
