Article: Physics in Games: A New Gameplay Frontier (http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/2798/physics_in_games_a_new_gameplay_.php)
I'm posting this pretty late at night, so I can't offer very substantial comments at this time... but the above article is a very good read. It's more high-level, conceptual discussion than technical implementation, but it's nice to see many well-explained points presented coherently. By the way, the author (Pascal Luban) was a designer for one of the Ageia-enabled UT3 maps which features a powerful tornado.
It seems a little naive for him to be calling it a "new" gameplay frontier, but I guess that's catchier than "emerging". Any thoughts on the points Luban makes, either building on his ideas or contradicting them?
