Instead of PS3 and a game (plus a 2nd controller, if it's not in the main package), you can buy a nice and used car...
Or, an alternative, wait till LittleBigPlanet is out and buy PS3 at the half price ;)

You still need bios from a ps3, if you don't have one of your own to rip from it's piracy.

I've got PS3, WII, and 360 and right now PS3 doesn't get much playtime. Wii gets used damn near every night by my wife and and every weekend when her sister comes over to stay, and i play the 360 when i get some time to my self. PS3 maybe once or twice a week, the reason for that is not many games for it. lately it's been picking up been playing motorstorm and that's a good game.

I'd rather play a cheaper Xbox 360 with more 3rd party support and better online! Also, I heard Final Fantasy XIII is coming to the 360. My attitude is like this because I don't want to caugh up $1000 (CDN) For a game system that appears to be failing on the market. Maybe you would disagree? Oh well, it's an opinion. Like the ones people have towards PSP's (Which I have one and I love it!)
Note: I love Metal Gear Solid! Supposedly their are rumours of it coming to the 360! I may sound like a fanboy but I think that it is a good machine and worth the price.

PS3 has sold 165 000 copies in England in first two days, XO only 70 000 :)...
(No offence or anything ultraps3fanboyshit, only telling tehhh truth)...
And i think we won't be seeing FF XIII on XO.... But oh well, if we do, i will buy 360.... And FF XIII is coming out in like 2009 or so, so you can get 360 with 150 € :D

Got Motorstorm for Ps3 and it looks better than gears.

There's also Assassins Creed (which is coming out on both PS3 and 360) , which has the crowd physics and some destructibles. I can't wait to play it, its set to be one of the best games evarrrrrrr

It's not really fair to judge the PS3 catalogue against the 360's really. especially since the PS3's launch titles are very weak and 360 is really finding it's feet with the success of Gears. But even as a PS fanboy, I'm really having doubts about whether its worth getting a PS3. But im sure MGS4 will sway me :D. Maybe Tekken 6 too, but atm its looking decidedly average.

Online, I Join A Game, get up to the point where you click agree settings(i just click on it, nothing else on that screen).
Then it goes blank screen, Not exactly blank, still the video music, but nothing to click on or read.
