burnout revenge (does it realy have physics)

well i've seen photos at first it looked like a physics game, but when i played it it kinda looked like a physics free game i mean like games can have vehicle deformation without being a physics game right? Don't get me wrong this game is fun but does it really give that physics sensation? what do you think guys?

Just to point out what physics are and what Burnout has;
1) Gravity - What makes the cars stay on the ground?
2) Deformation - Some of the most physical aspects of a game. Not really in Burnout Revenge but look at Burnout Paradise.
3) Destructible Environments - Fences and barrels flying up into the air because of a 220MPH collision. That is physics driven.

If a game did not have physics it would be something like Space Invaders or those old slot car racing games.

Aqua, you forgot the actual "base of all those physics" (well, excluding gravity). Yeees, I'm talking about rigid bodies. What happens to a static piece of fence when you hit it? Yup, it turns into a dynamic rigid body, which is affected by that thing you already mentioned, gravity.

No I am not Japanese (the text it is in Japanese), I prefer having a unique signature that people notice rather than a few lines of typically annoying text (wheres my sig image love?). Well, it has basic physics, like things fly off and have inertia, are affected by gravity, and have momentum, but other than that none really.

Okay, but the Burnout Series still > the FlatOut series because it's been around longer and FlatOut is just a crappy clone. The only exception is the ragdoll sports. Still sucks. :D :p

Haha... that made me think, everyone knows about the reversing in Big Rigs where your speed just continuously increases. I'd love to mod that game so it had special relativity when the reversing reaches high speeds :D
