I've read something about this. It said that you can even shoot a single leaf off the tree, and wind will fly it (the leaf, hahahalol) around the sky. Sounds f*cking cool, but impossible.

Actually, Ubisoft (yes Montreal I believe) is making this game in conjunction with Crytek. In other words they are working side by side in which case I consider both the same company :D . Also Ubisoft is by far my favorite corporation (EA is just like Microsoft in being that they are greedy fools).

Dunno whether this has been said, but there is no recharging of health and no mdeikits, but 60 differnt animations for healing yourself, e.g You have a car crash, so you have to pop your shoulder back in etc... :D

It doesn't run on Cryengine 2 but on Dunia, wich is a modifid version of the YETI engine (GRAW and GRAW 2) wich have also some nice physics.

I believe Crytech is the only company able to use it. Thats why when you start up the console version of farcry you can see in small print "based on cryengine..." and a bunch of legal stuff

Crysis had half decent aliens they looked like they were from war of the worlds, but tbh they could do with non at all, FarCry2 is supposedly having Lions Tigers Giraffes Zebras Leopards Cheetahs etc... with it being in the african outback should be fun imo :D

This is what I do not get, all games that are considered racist have different colored people. As soon as a game has African style people everyone goes crazy and says the game is racist when probably every other game has European type people. Yeah, but I assume that if it's coming out for consoles AND PC, then they have to tone down the console versions to a point where the PC version only looks better in terms of resolution/anti-aliasing. If they make the PC version look way better, it'd be controversial and the console players who don't have it for PC will be pissed that it's like a different game. I just hope it's released for PC only, and then an Instincts version if it will be released later on consoles.

Yeah, it was. AFAIK, PS3 is getting the same editor as X360 is, and PC's editor will, obviously, be better and more complicated.

Well, I'd get it for my PS3 since my computer can't run shit. I would like to have it on PC, but my DVD drive is shit and can't even find crysis so there's a pretty big chance that it wont find Farcry 2 either.

A lot of these applications detect your shared graphics memory not your dedicated. Technically that's how much your graphics card can use, but only 256MB-1GB of it is actually fast enough to be effective.

You shouldn't just buy the game because the site says so.

It is one of the best sites in my opinion, but it can mix some stuff up for some people.
For example it always gets my graphic card wrong, and thinks it's an older version than it is. So I need to then go and sort it out myself.

I don't get why all of the games people are posting that have ragdolls are being locked for it not being physics-based, but the most popular games (like Far-Cry 2) have the exact same amount of physics (Ragdolls and objects). When I think of physics-based I think of you NEED physics to complete the game (Rolling a ball, or using weight differences to balance things, and others of the sort). When the moderators use the infamous link to Matthew's post talking about physics-based games, the reasoning behind the post of the link can be applied to other threads such as this thread (an FPS that uses ragdolls). What I am saying is that I have noticed that there is a connection between the popularity of the game being posted and it being locked. So, according to Matthews post of only physics-based games being posted, this thread should be, as some mods put it, "Lock'd".

I don't get why all of the games people are posting that have ragdolls are being locked for it not being physics-based, but the most popular games (like Far-Cry 2) have the exact same amount of physics (Ragdolls and objects). When I think of physics-based I think of you NEED physics to complete the game (Rolling a ball, or using weight differences to balance things, and others of the sort). When the moderators use the infamous link to Matthew's post talking about physics-based games, the reasoning behind the post of the link can be applied to other threads such as this thread (an FPS that uses ragdolls). What I am saying is that I have noticed that there is a connection between the popularity of the game being posted and it being locked. So, according to Matthews post of only physics-based games being posted, this thread should be, as some mods put it, "Lock'd".

My opinion is that Far Cry 2 and LittleBigPlanet will be competing with each other for my best game...in opinion, but.....I don't know....the map editor in FC2 looks easy and AMAZING, but LBP is really fun and you can create anything....similar to the FC2 level editor....I don't know...I just don't know......

I've heard the AI mentioned a few times, but what do they actually do?
If they aren't AI of awesome epic proportions I will not be impressed.

I'm planning on getting Fallout 3 and Fable 2 already, but I may get this as well, if other people say it's good.
I enjoyed the first one, and played a bit of Instincts.
Will buildings fall dependant upon where they are hit, or will they do a Rampage on us and just flop regardless?

The A.I apparently can think to go help their friends but also think that maybe they should look around first before going to help, as seen in a video the player shot a guy in the foot and the other guy (looking around first) went to go help but got a bullet between the eyes instead.
Also I heard that the building destruction is similar to Crysis with the "cobbled" together houses so if you shoot at a wall that wall will break down and the roof will collapse, etc, etc. Hope I have answered your questions.

I haven't played Crysis, nor do I know about the engine in it, but I'm guessing you mean that it will react realistically, where the wall, being dependant on itself, will fall, followed by the roof, which is dependant on the wall, and so on.

So, I'm going to have to get this and play it through normally, then again expoiting these things.
360... It has all these nice physics games, but no LBP.

.. Well, weird. Assassins Creed, for example, was certainly not polished AFAIK. And I got the idea that fans wanted fixes but Ubisoft didn't listen to them.

Anyways, can't wait. Less than few weeks to go! Hopefully the editor isn't restricted much, I mean that you can fill the place nicely, as I'm thinking of recreating some of the legendary levels of them legendary FPS's.

Just watched the editor video, it looks pretty much the same but seems a lot more easy and fun to use.
The thing I didn't like about predator's editor was that it was so restricted.

2. I didn't get any bugs, etc while i was playing :/

4. One thing about polishing was, they optimize games pretty good (better computer have less optimization and worse computer have better optimization)
