no more physics games?

are we running out of physics games? it's already very hard to search for them. So we will have to wait until somone makes a new "real" physics game. Not just a game with physics.

Its just a matter of WHAT you search for. If you search for "physics game" then you won't get much new stuff.

But.. if you search for specifics like "dynamic cloth" or "real-time physics" or even "real-time physical deformation", then that's where you find the most simulations.

I agree with ShortStuff. This thread is completely relevant to physics games. He is also true about searching for physics related objects. Whenever I search I don't sreach physics games, I search for technical terms. If you search for terms like that then you will find loads of things.

That is so true. All I've been seeing are standard FPS games with ragdoll and "bullet physics". Every single FPS' since 2004 has had those. I'm tired of seeing these games posted over and over and over.

I don't see any physics based games just games with physics. Games like the Powder Game, Gish, or Crayon Physics are the ones that need to be posted.

You see I am tired of seeing simulations that are the same thing as some other one, but with a different shade of green. I mean sure it has physics, but it doesn't have that razzle dazzle that a really cool simulation of the same kind, but with different shades and even pigments.

-Ragdolls with a skeletal frame, so they can only move in ways humanly possible. With AI and Behavioural deaths.
-A destruction of a wall depending on exactly where you hit it, not generically.
-Car deformations that affect speed AND aerodynamics.
-Something else thats crazy like these that we wont see in atleast a couple of years!
