Description says it all... And comments...
" Demo of my 2d physics engine"
"Is there a download for the exe? I'd love to have a go of that!"
"No exe yet .. maybe in a couple of weeks."....
So it's his own engine..

I wrote this using Blitz3d. It was initially just an experiment which turned out quite nicely. I've not had alot of time to work on it recently but I have introduced much bigger levels :

I'm very open to gameplay ideas as I have too many going round in my head to nail it down. All ideas welcome!
Cheers

Did you write the physics engine, or is it a feature of the Blitz3D tool?
By the way looks really cool...

thanks for the downloads on your site i like the robot one, i just wish you can colide with the other robots, pick them up and shoot them with the weapons

The physics engines are entirely my own. Blitz3d is the language.
Once I get a playable demo up hopefully people will have some interesting ideas I could implement to turn it into a simple game.
[edit]
The last version of the bender robot thing allowed you to grab and hold onto the robot ariels and drag them about and shoot them. I don't plan on revisiting it but I could probably add some sort of shooting in this new one.

does blitz3d run on BASIC? and where do u learn the code for physics? I'm trying to get into small phys game making.
EDIT: i looked at there website and it seems that blitzmax is what would be best for me.

ARrrr! Another Blitz user. I've made like...2 games =o but neither had good physics as the language doesn't allow very much...
You should make the engine an open-source one, specifically for Blitz, because ...well, there AREN'T any out there.

I've never heard such nonsense! Blitz is second to none for simple and complex game creation. I'm guessing that neither game had good physics as a result of your coding. ;)
In another thread you suggest that I'm a physics noob and only you and a few other are capable of writing an engine, yet I've written 2d and 3d engines for blitz with no external libraries  . An example of the 3d verlet one :

For your info, Blitz has wrapped 3rd party engines for TOKAMACK (spelling??) , ODE and NEWTON so again you are misinformed.

Er. You yourself may be included in the 'few others'.
Also. ODE and Newton wrappers don't work almost AT ALL, and they are VERY hard to find if you're not on the forums. Why? Because Blitz doesn't have an important part of OBJECT ORIENTED programming. I can't remember on the spot, but it's pointers that it's missing if I remember correctly.
Also, I'm talking about BlitzBasic/3D, not BlitzMAX.
PS. Link me to either ODE or Newton wrappers so I can test them. I saw them in a (very) earlier version and you could basically only a few objects and adding collisions/gravity. No joints, no nothing.

NEWTON

TOKAMAK

Never tried any of them myself but JV-ODE, while not free, seems to be pretty nice. The author of the wrapper is extremely helpful and will answer any questions you may have. It also receives regular updates.

Being not-free isn't exactly helpful. =\
I'll try Newton/Tokamak in the weekend probably, won't really have stable access for a few days.
EDIT: Er. Thanks. >.>

Would you sell for free something which you'd been working on for months if not years? I don't think so.
A thanks would have been nice!

Er. I don't remember posting that. o_o
Damn, must I have been tired. Thanks, and though it isn't free, I'd like to see how it does in Blitz with the 'restricted' demo.
The others can wait until the weekend. Oh, and by the way, if I had been making it for years, I would have given it as freeware. Because:
1. I'm under 18, but that wouldn't matter.
2. If I could I would've made it OPEN-SOURCE.
3. I realise how many people would want it but couldn't have it. I hate that feeling, and so do the rest.

Steve, May I ask you why you have a file called "VIRUS" On you're site?
It's actually called Z_Virus and it's a remake of Zarch ( Archimedes ) / Virus ( Amiga ). See here where I get a mention ...

Nothing for you to worry about ;)
Stevie
p.s. Version 2 uses some of the original miggy sounds and has the original mouse control system if anyone's interested.
