Hi, this game is quite interesting. As its a FPS-Puzzle game, wich uses physics to solve stuff.

Penumbra is very different from other adventure games. Not only is it powered by a 3D engine utilising cutting edge technology, it also has an advanced physics system which allow for a never before seen environment interaction.
The player can open drawers, pull levers, pick up objects and more using natural mouse movements creating a highly interactive and immersive game world.

Yeah, i played the freeware Penumbra and i was totally amazed, i didn't expect such nice physics... I didn't have the slightest clue to what it is, just hadn't nothing to download so i gave it a try :) Sad it was too small and just a small example of what they can do...
Hopefully, the time has come for its commercial version. I played Overture's demo a couple of days ago and i have to say that... it was way too small! I didn't knew it will be released in 3 episodes. I hope they won't be too small, as episodic games do ;) (HL2:Ep1 & Sam&Max2 series are my examples). Patience till the end of the month and we'll find out... :D

Yeah, I also tried the demo. Was frightened all the time, took some time figuring out where to go and what to do.
Anyway, 19,99$ isn`t that much, well I hope it becomes available on steam. But, not likely to do that.

I love the demo, i can only play 10 mins before having to leave it alone. Much to scary for me :D
Was playing it with a friend at his house once with the lights off to see who screamed like a little girl first... Was him when his caddy's (external hard drive) light flickered. I recommend the free version to all. and the full version looks awesome too

Well I turned it on the lowist settings. and when I started it up it just show the room with some fucked up grafx, and I couldint move!
O well, this does look pritty good, and I'm not a big fan of horror games.

the site that the guy posted really sucks, if you would rather use bittorrent to download the file, the tracker is located here : http://www.gameupdates.org/details.php?id=929
I always seed my downloads for a week, so there will be at least one seeder, namely me, for awhile.

I love the physics in this game. Sadly I only can play so much of it because it so CREEPY!!! The furthest I got was after breaking the boards and climbing through that really small hole and going to the left into a room with a mechanism with a hole in it and a sort of trap door. Well after examining the mechanism I started walking to the trap door and when I was only 2 feet away something started banging on the door...I screamed and smashed the Esc button. I will have to get my friend to play it tomorrow.:o

I'm buying the full version, and going to play it on a projector (100"). Togheter with some friends, and no light :D
Hope I get trought the first levels :P
EDIT: Only thing thats was dissapointing with the freeversion, was the way the enemy moved, it was kind of bad made.

Happy heart attack !
The guys who developped that game know the meaning of "immersion" for sure ! They even plan on making it playable with wiimotes (via bluetooth). Imagine : playing on a big screen/projector, in the dark, with nobody else in the room, acting in the game with your very own hands...
